We recognize that your privacy is very important. This privacy policy covers InOrbit’s policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you access its site at www.inorbit.ai or its Services through control.inorbit.ai, api.inorbit.ai and/or InOrbit’s related mobile applications (collectively the “Platform”) or anytime you interact with InOrbit. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the same meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
Each time you use the Platform, you consent to the collection, use and storage of the collected information as described in this Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully and contact us at support@inorbit.ai if you have any questions.
- What Information Does InOrbit Collect on the Platform?
Customer Communications. Customers and other users may contact InOrbit through the Platform by providing their name, email address and phone number. This information will be utilized to respond to any inquiries. Your information may also be used to (i) provide information regarding our Services; (ii) communicate material changes to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; and/or (iii) help us maintain and improve Services offered. Customers and other users may unsubscribe from marketing communications/newsletters at any time.
Additional Customer Account Information. In subscribing to its Services, InOrbit may also request a Customer to provide account-based information, including Customer name, address, phone number, email and payment processing information to facilitate account services and subscription and related purchases through the Platform.
Customer’s End-User Information. Depending on the type of Robot utilized by InOrbit’s Customer(s), InOrbit may also have incidental access to images/video/audio data processed by a Robot’s cameras and other sensors. Such end-user data will be minimally processed by InOrbit in order to provide the Services and will be stored, if at all, for the limited purpose and time frame to provide the Services in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Customer’s own data privacy and security requirements.
Cookies. InOrbit utilizes cookie technology to gather information on Internet use in order to serve you more effectively. Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and transferred to your device. You can set your browser to remove or reject cookies; however some Platform features or Services may not work properly without cookies.
- Is Information Collected by or Disclosed to Third Parties?
InOrbit does not sell the data collected through your use of the Platform to any third party. Information is collected to facilitate the Services offered or for internal analysis relating to product improvements. Information collected is shared with the following third parties to facilitate provision of the Services on the Platform as follows:
Customer Authentication. InOrbit has integrated API and related services for customer login authentication and authorization to facilitate access to the Services. Users should review Google's Privacy Policy and Auth0’s Privacy Policy for more information on their data collection and use practices.
Hosting. InOrbit utilizes Meteor Galaxy, a cloud service for managing its Meteor applications and connected Customers and Mongo DB Hosting, a database management solution. Information is collected and used by such third party hosting services in accordance with the respective Meteor Privacy Policy and MLabs Privacy Policy.
Amazon Web Servers. InOrbit collects, stores, exchanges, transmits and analyzes data through a variety of secure services offered through Amazon Web Services. Customers should click on the Amazon hyperlink for more information about their data collection and privacy policies.
API Management. InOrbit may utilize Apigee to assist in the management of the API’s utilized in connection with the Services. Customers should click on the hyperlink for more information on their data collection and use practices.
Analytics.
- Google Analytics. InOrbit utilizes Google Analytics to access anonymous data to help us understand how our Services are used. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It provides a report to us with website trends without identifying individual visitors. Platform usage is tracked using Google Analytics in accordance with Google's Data Privacy and Security Policy. However, if you do not want your data to be used by Google Analytics, you may opt-out by installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Robot-Performance Issue Notification. InOrbit utilizes the services of PagerDuty and Slack to proactively notify Customer and its authorized users of Robot-based performance issues. Information is collected and utilized in accordance with the PagerDuty Privacy Policy and Slack Privacy Policy.
Social Plug-Ins. Customers and other users may share their experiences on Facebook and LinkedIn. Customers should click on the hyperlinks to review the applicable privacy policies for more detail about information collected from these sites.
Payment Processing Information. InOrbit does not itself store debit or credit card information on its servers. InOrbit utilizes a third party payment processor, Stripe, to manage and process payments in order to guarantee the security of your information. Customers should review Stripe's Privacy Policy for more information on their data collection practices.
Other Potential Third-Party Disclosures. Information may also be disclosed to third parties (1) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; (2) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request, or (3) if InOrbit is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets.
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify users (i) about law enforcement or court ordered requests for data unless otherwise prohibited by law, or (ii) if your personal information is to be disclosed or transferred and/or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- How Does InOrbit Comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act?
Only persons age 18 or older are authorized to create a InOrbit account. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@inorbit.ai. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
- How Long Does InOrbit Retain Information Collected?
InOrbit will retain Customer and user data for a commercially reasonable time and as we deem necessary to provide our Services to our users. If you would like us to delete your registered account information, please contact us at support@inorbit.ai and we will respond in a reasonable time.
- What is InOrbit’s Security Policy?
We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, destruction or alteration. However, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can ever by 100% secure.

InOrbit utilizes only PCI-DSS compliant third party payment processors to ensure the security of your personal information. Users should review Stripe’s Security Policy for more information on their security practices.
- How Does InOrbit Respond to “Do Not Track” Signals?
“Do Not Track” is a feature enabled on some browsers that sends a signal to request that a web application disable its tracking or cross-Platform user tracking. At present, InOrbit does not respond to or alter its practices when a Do Not Track signal is received.
- Your California Privacy Rights.
Customers and users who are California residents may request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, certain information about the PII (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of PII that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to support@inorbit.ai.
- How Will I Be Notified of Changes to Your Privacy Policy?
If InOrbit makes material changes to its Privacy Policy, it will notify you either by: (i) changing the Effective Date at the top of the Privacy Policy, (ii) sending an email to its account holders, and/or (iii) adding a statement to the Platform.
You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
