With new teammates joining our ranks and familiar faces stepping into new roles, the spirit of innovation and collaboration continues to thrive within our amazing RobOps platform and service.

John Simmons - VP of Technology and Operations
Formerly our Head of Product, John is no stranger to the industry. He brings 20 years of tech deployment wisdom from IBM, Toshiba, and Bossa Nova Robotics where he oversaw hundreds of robots in the field. A powerhouse at InOrbit for the past few years, John is excited as he steps into the role of VP of Technology and Operations. "I've been honored to lead InOrbit's Product team and build the industry's best RobOps platform. As we’ve grown our team, I’m thrilled to shift gears to focus on our strategic technology and operations initiatives to capitalize on our momentum from 2023 and drive InOrbit to greater heights.”

Cynthia Bell - Head of Customer Success
Cynthia, previously the Sr. Manager of Customer Support at Locus Robotics and Robot Operations Center Sr. manager at Bossa Nova Robotics brings extensive hands-on experience helping customers grow and manage robot fleets at scale. Now she takes the reins as InOrbit’s Head of Customer Success. Cynthia is passionate about driving excellence in robot operations and delivering exceptional customer value "I thrive on streamlining processes and improving efficiency, a commitment I've upheld throughout my career across diverse industries. Robots embody physical processes, simplifying the world in a tangible way. InOrbit is dedicated to enriching customer products by adding significant value. It's like the ultimate inception of processes!"

Russell Toris - Sr. Director of Engineering
Our new Sr. Director of Engineering comes from a background of robotics’ most successful companies including incubator Willow Garage, Amazon Robotics (formerly Kiva Systems), and Fetch Robotics (now a part of Zebra Technologies). Prior to his professional career, Russell acquired his PhD focusing on making robots more accessible to everyday users. Russell brings a wealth of technical and engineering leadership experience to the role. "InOrbit is where the future of robotics is taking shape. I'm excited to bring my passion for human-robot interaction to the forefront. InOrbit's unique technology defines the standard in optimizing heterogeneous fleets of robots at scale. I am thrilled to lead a talented team and bring even more innovation to our products as we enter 2024."
